This porcelain work is from a body of work drawing on my interest in environmental genre of writing that deals with utopian antonyms. It explores the notion of the atavistic drive to assimilate with the conditions of major environmental change, and the subsequent lure of a world reverting back to a prehistoric ecology, which threatens to encroach and reassert itself.
